A research of sustainable waste management: an application in the plastics industry

Consumption-based lifestyle, population growth, development of industry, diversification industrial products and environmental pollution is threatening the lives humans nature.In order to prevent this situation,it necessary collect wastes,transport them separate correctly. In protect natural resources negative effects on environment, ın our country in world generally, various studies are carried out waste management. With correct management process, it aimed return wastes system, even if cannot be prevented. The aim study examine criteria strategies required for a firm plastics industry sustainable study, 9 factors that effective company operating were prioritized with AHP. Then, 6 alternative accepted listed TOPSIS method. While most important criterion selection storage areas, strategy has been determined as recycling.
